If your organization uses the VicNet module, your volunteers will login using their email address and a password. The VicNet Ground Rules page allows you to manage password settings, including strength requirements, minimum length, and how often they expire. And volunteers can choose to update their password at any time by clicking the Password Reset link on the VicNet login page, or the Account page inside VicNet.
If volunteers have trouble logging in, it’s usually easiest to let them manage their password on their own
If you would prefer to send volunteers information they can use to set a new password, there are several ways to do this. System Operators can set temporary passwords for volunteers or send a password reset email from the Vic tab or the Tags page.
