The parts of Volgistics that are designed for volunteer access (VicNet, VicTouch, the Opportunity Directory, and application forms) all include custom theming options. These settings allow you to use your organization’s own colors, keeping your branding consistent with your own website. For example, you can review and update the theming for VicNet like this:
- Choose Setup from the menu
- Expand VicNet.
- Click Theming.
On the left-hand side here, you can see all of the different visual elements that can be customized. On the right-hand side, you have a live preview of VicNet with the options selected. As you make changes, the preview is updated right away. This way, you can see what it looks like without needing to save and refresh inside VicNet.
As you’re adjusting these, make sure that elements in the each section provide sufficient contrast. If you make the background and the buttons the same color, your volunteers won’t be able to see them.
There are also a handful of built-in themes you can choose from if you don’t want to adjust the fields individually.
