Collecting Documents in VicNet

In VicNet, you can ask volunteers to upload documents (such as waivers, release forms, or authorization forms). This feature can only be used accounts that also use VicDocs.

This requires a few steps, so volunteers will need to download the form, complete it, and then upload the completed copy. Most PDF files will also need to be printed and scanned, but volunteers can skip those steps if you create a fillable form with software like Adobe Acrobat.

Once you’ve got the form:

  1. Upload the form to the Documents tab in your Volgistics Mailbox.
  2. Add the form to a Document Link Box using the VicNet Home Page settings. We recommend using Document Link box 4. You can also add some instructions for printing and/or filling out the form, and uploading the completed copy.
  3. Enable uploads in Document Link Box 4.

Volunteers will see the form(s) on the Home page in VicNet. They’ll be able to download the forms and upload the completed copies using the Document Upload feature.
