If your organization uses the VicTouch module, your VicTouch kiosks will serve as timeclocks where volunteers can sign-in and sign-out to record their service automatically. As volunteers review their schedule, service history, and as they arrive and as they prepare to depart, it can be helpful for them to know the date and time. However, if VicTouch has been properly launched in a full-screen or kiosk mode, the date and time settings of the computer itself will not be displayed.
You can ensure the date and time are shown at VicTouch even in these situations through the VicTouch Ground Rules.
- Select Setup from the Menu.
- Choose VicTouch.
- Click Ground rules.
- Under Appearance, check Display date & time
- Click Save.
This change will take effect upon restart of the VicTouch kiosk(s).
