Service Summary Report - Service by Type (stock)¶
This stock report is organized by volunteer Type and summarizes volunteer service by fiscal year, starting with the earliest year your database has a service recorded and continuing through the current year. The report includes sub-totals for each volunteer Type. The Type field appears in the Name box on the Core tab, and it is typically used for classifying volunteers into categories such as adult, junior, student, regular, occasional, auxiliary, and so forth. Service for volunteers who do not have a specific Type appears at the end of the report under the heading "(none)."
A total for each fiscal year appears at the bottom of the report, and a total for each Type appears in the far right column. There's a grand total for all hours the report includes at the end.
Use this report for year-to-year historical or comparison purposes. If you do not exclude any volunteers from this report in the Include criteria, it will include all service entered in your database.
If you'd rather see each service entry instead of a lump sum, you should use a Service Details report. If you'd rather see the summary of service information summarized differently, you may be able to run one of the other Service Summary reports.
Customizing and Running Stock Reports
You can generate this report using the Run It button, and change its appearance using the Modify It button. You can also Clone It to create your own custom versions.
