Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster volunteer with the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando!

The minimum age for being a foster volunteer is 13 years of age with active parental participation and approval. If the foster volunteer is under 18, a parent or guardian must attend the orientation with the foster volunteer. A parent or guardian must also be present to initially check out the animal(s) and transport the animal(s) to and from the shelter if the foster volunteer does not have a valid driver’s license or personal mode of transportation.

Once you complete the form, click the submit button at the bottom. All fields and any free form questions are required to be completed or your application will be considered incomplete and will not be processed.

Space is limited per class - if there aren't any date selections below that match your schedule, please check back with us in the future. New dates are usually posted at the beginning of each month.

If you have any questions regarding fostering at the Sanford location, please email sangus@petallianceorlando.org.

*Do not submit this form more than once. Please be mindful, there are character limits to long form questions.*

REQUIRED - Select an Orientation Date/Time Below

This application is to become a foster volunteer with the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando’s Sanford location. Please note, the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando does not currently do fostering out of the Alafaya clinic location. We are fostering out of our Sanford and Orlando locations only. Be sure you have selected the application for the location closest to you before completing this application.

Below, please select an orientation date and time that works best for you. We try to hold foster orientations twice a month, so if the dates below don’t fit your schedule, please check back for the next session’s dates (usually posted at the beginning of each month) and fill out the application at that time. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate late arrivals, so be sure the date and time work for you.

Be sure to add the date and time of the orientation you select to your calendar, as you will be automatically added to the schedule for that orientation.

Please choose one orientation date and time below:

Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando Euthansia Policy

The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando accepts all animals that are relinquished by an owner who feels they are no longer able to care for them. We do not limit the amount of time an animal can remain in our care. All animals in good health and of good temperament are placed up for adoption. We do have an excellent adoption rate, however, there are certain circumstances when an animal must be euthanized.

  • What are your thoughts on this issue?

In case of emergency, who should we contact?
