In order to promote public health, all scheduled volunteers will need to provide verification of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as mandated by the Executive's Order. This requirement does not apply to people who are seeking solely to foster animals. The requirement also applies to King County employees and contractors who do buiness with the county.

Demographic Information


Court-Ordered Community Service

RASKC accepts court-ordered community service volunteers on a case by case basis, only for traffic-related infractions (or comparable). Court-ordered community-service volunteers are not eligible to work with dogs. They are not eligible to work at a partner store until they have volunteered for several shifts at RASKC/Kent and have received a recommendation. All court-ordered community service volunteers must make an initial commitment of at least 50 hours.
