Welcome to Culinary Angels! My name is Cathy Griggs and I am the Volunteer Coordinator for Culinary Angels. There are many ways you can support us as we work each week to provide beautiful meals to our recipients. We hope you will find a task (or two!) that brings you joy.


Here is a brief overview of our week so you can see when various tasks are implemented.


Friday: Shopping: Shoppers purchase ingredients and deliver back to the kitchen. (2+ hours)


Saturdays: Garden Pick up from our partner gardens in late morning and deliver produce to our kitchen. (About 2 hours)


Sundays: 1st and 3rd week of the month. Livermore Farmers Market team. (We receive 100+ pounds of produce from Organic Farm Vendors.) 3 two hour shifts 8am-2pm


Mondays: In kitchen: 2 shifts. 10am-1:15pm and 1:30-5:30 Bone Broth, Veggie Prep, Baking, Dishes/sanitizing


Tuesdays: In kitchen: 10am-3pm Cook Team: soup, main dish and 2 sides, Dishes/sanitizing


Wednesdays: 10am-12pm Meal Plating and Packaging. 2:10pm: Meal delivery bags filled.

3:00pm Delivery Angels pick up meal bags and deliver meals to recipients. (2+hours)


Thursdays: 10am-12. Inventory and occasional deep cleaning.


There are many behind the scenes jobs as well, so if you have skills with fundraising, grant writing, buying and receiving, marketing etc. let me know! It takes many people with different gifts and skills to get it all done!
