We believe in the purpose, the vision and the mission of the organization, and will act responsibly and prudently in its steward. As such, we will interpret the organization’s work and values to the community, represent the organization, and act as an advocate. As part of our responsibilities as a Board Member:

  • Will attend 80% (no more than 2 absences, based on 10 meetings/year) of board meetings within a 12-month period.
  • Will participate in meetings and take responsibility for making decisions on issues, policies, and other board matters.
  • Will actively serve on 1 – 2 committees of the Board.
  • Will accept and complete tasks and projects of the committees and the Board.
  • Will participate in fundraising efforts and actively assist with special events and projects.
  • Will contribute my skills, knowledge, and expertise to the organization, Board of Directors, and committees.
  • Will make a personal financial contribution that is relative to my ability to give, and I will encourage and solicit additional donations to the agency.
