Important Information – Please Read
Volunteering at The Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge (referred to as “The Refuge”) may involve early morning or afternoon shifts, completing tasks which do not always involve direct animal contact, and can be physically demanding and dirty work. It requires a commitment regardless of the weather or season and for you to work as part of a team.
Volunteers must adhere to Refuge policies and procedures and follow the instructions of their Supervisor at all times. To comply with government regulations and the Workplace Health and Safety Act volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, and must not have children or minors accompany them when undertaking their volunteer work for or at the Refuge.
Please complete this application form if you are interested in becoming a volunteer Cat or Dog Supervisor and Rehomer for the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge. Once you complete the form, click the submit button at the bottom.
All applications will be screened, and successful applicants invited to attend an interview. Please note this is a VOLUNTEER role, not a paid position.
