Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation (WRR).
This is the only application you need to fill out in order to volunteer at WRR. Once you finish the application, click the continue button at the bottom. You must select a new volunteer orientation date in order for your application to be considered complete.
Please be aware that we require one application for each person who attends an orientation. If you are a parent/guardian, your (junior volunteer) child must have a separate application on file. All junior volunteers must be 13 years old and accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
*** COVID-19 UPDATE (April 20 2022) ***
Our COVID-19 policy has been revised per recently updated CDC guidelines. Consequently, masks are optional for all staff, apprentices, interns, volunteers, and the public at both locations, regardless of vaccination status while working indoors.

For the well being of the wildlife we serve and in order for you to feel confident in the work you perform, volunteers are required to make some level of commitment to the volunteer program. How often are you planning on volunteering?
If you cannot commit to volunteer at least 2x each month, please consider reapplying when you have more availability. (Exception: your schedule is seasonal. For example, you travel during certain months of the year or you're a college student who goes to school away from home.)

Please sign up for a volunteer orientation. Applicants must attend an orientation to become a WRR volunteer.
I have read the volunteer information and I am interested in making a commitment to Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation and to the animals by assisting in this work as indicated above. I have read WRR's ethical issues statements and I agree to abide by those practices and policies at all times. I agree that if I am chosen as a WRR volunteer that I will do my best to care for the animals placed in my hands and treat them with the respect that they deserve.
I am familiar with the purpose of Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation, Inc. I believe in this organization and I wish to do volunteer work in exchange for the pleasure of knowing that wild and domestic animals have benefitted. I understand that some risk may be involved with my work for Wildlife Rescue. Therefore, I agree that Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation, Inc. is not responsible for any injury I might receive, however serious, because of my work for Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation.
