As part of our effort to provide comprehensive care, we also do what we can to address social needs that impact health. Unfortunately, food insecurity -- the inability to consistently put enough food on the table -- is common among our patients.
That's why Venice Family Clinic partnered with UCLA Kitchen to provide free prepared hot meals to our patients in which we distribute over 3,000 nutritious meals daily to our patients. Through our Hot Meal Program, community Clinic patients will be able to take home fresh, delicious, and nutritious meals for their entire family.
What will you be doing?
You will be assisting us bagging meals, and other tasks needed including guiding patients through the Hot Meals line. To ensure safety and social distancing our hot meals program is outdoors.
Please complete the form to volunteer at our free food markets.
**You will receive a sign up confirmation immediately after signing up with additional instructions.
**Please be advised we may ask you to assist us with other volunteer needs such as; building face shields, placing stickers on thermometers. This will be up to the volunteer supervisor's discretion and the need at that time.
