Volunteers are the heart and soul of Minnesota Recovery Connection. We believe that systemic inequality disproportionately hurts the most marginalized people in society, including Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC), women, LGBTQ people, people with disabilities, and people who have been involved in the justice system. Minnesota Recovery Connection believes that these communities must be centered in the work we do in reducing stigma and shame arising due to racism. We strongly encourage people with these identities, people in recovery, and recovery allies (family, friend, or partner of a person in recovery) to volunteer with us to gain skills and experience.
Please note: To volunteer with Minnesota Recovery Connection, all staff and volunteers MUST be vaccinated for COVID-19. Medical and religious exemptions are accepted with the proper paperwork. Please contact us at email@example.com or at 612-584-4158 with any questions or concerns. (edited 3/1/2022)
