All Junior Volunteers must be at least 16 years old as of June 1, 2020 and entering at least the 11th grade in Fall 2020.

Letters of Recommendation

For your application to be considered, you must have two (2) letters of recommendation. A teacher, school counselor, clergy or community service representative must complete the recommendation. This person cannot be related to the Junior Volunteer applicant. Please list the individuals that will be writing the letters of recommendation below. Volunteer Services must receive both letters of recommendation in the completed application to be considered for the program.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR COMMITMENT

Jr. Volunteers are expected to work for eight weeks in the summer, a minimum of one four hour shift weekly- for a minimum total of 40 hours of service.

If you are enrolled in summer school, have a vacation planned, or are going to camp, please keep this in mind.

Jr. Volunteers act in the place of our year-round volunteers in summer- so you will be expected to be here.

MANDATORY Orientation and Training is scheduled for Friday June 5th 2020 9 am – 4 pm. No exceptions. Plan accordingly
