Thank you for your interest in joining the volunteer team at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital. We currently are not accepting volunteers due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you would like to be added to our list of volunteer applicants, please complete this application and the Volunteer Services Department will get in touch with you to discuss the next steps to become a volunteer. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Upon the receipt of your information, we will review it based on your interests, availability and our current openings. If we determine a match, we will invite you to attend an individual interview once we can safely resume volunteer services. Please keep in mind - as much as we would like to accommodate all candidates, we are not able to accept everyone. After the interview, if it is determined that you qualify for an existing volunteer position, you will be asked to complete the following requirements prior to placement as a volunteer. To ensure the safety of our patients and families, all volunteers must participate in a screening process including:
• Volunteer application
• In-person interview
• Criminal background check (provided at no cost)
• Health screening and drug test (provided at no cost)
• Annual seasonal flu vaccination (provided at no cost)
• Volunteer Orientation
The volunteer interview, health screening and orientation take place on weekdays during regular business hours. The volunteer screening process typically takes 4-6 weeks to complete.
Volunteers must be able to commit to volunteering one or two 4-hour shifts per week, same days and times each week, for six or more consecutive months. Volunteers cannot serve more than eight hours per week.
