Storage of Personal Information
The Volunteer & Community Resources Department at William Osler Health System uses a software program called Volgistics to manage our volunteers information. Volgistics is a U.S. company specializing in database software specifically for volunteers. All of the volunteer information shared with Volgistics will be stored on a secure database in the United States. The technical specifications for the software and security protection systems supplied by Volgistics have been reviewed by Osler’s Information Service experts and meet the highest of industry standards. Please note, the access to the information provided will be restricted to appropriate William Osler Health System personnel and will not be made available to/accessible by any other parties.

If accepted as a volunteer, I understand that prior to starting my volunteer position I must complete the following:
-Immunizations (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Two-Step Tuberculosis test and proof of COVID-19 vaccination)
-Police Check (if over 18 years of age)
-Osler Orientation & Department Training
-Volunteer Uniform Purchase: choice between $20 t-shirt, $25 vest or $40 jacket
Please note that charges incurred in fulfilling these requirements are not reimbursed or the responsibility of Osler.
