Please note that all applicants over the age of 18 will be required to complete a fingerprint/background check prior to beginning service as a City of Torrance volunteer.

Your application is subject to a complete background review including a review of all criminal convictions.
Note: A conviction does not immediately disqualify applicants from the volunteer program.
Minors are required to obtain written consent from their parents prior to beginning service with the City of Torrance. An email providing consent can be sent to:

1. All participants 14 years of age or under, must be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult must also submit a volunteer application.
2. Participants between the ages of 15 and 17 years of age may volunteer alone, but require parental consent.
We like to keep volunteers informed of important news, schedules, and volunteer opportunities by email, however will not send you any email you prefer not to receive.
