We have several volunteer opportunities here at Intermountain Humane Society. These include; cat care, dog walking, event staff, fundraising, office assistance, transporting, and facility maintenance to name a few. Please indicate which volunteer opportunities might interest you.

Why do you want to volunteer with IMHS?
Please tell us about any previous experience working with animals or in retail positions (thrift store volunteers). Are there any specific skills that you might have that would help us in additional ways?
Our goal is to place volunteers in positions that are the best possible fit for our organization and the individual person. Please provide us with just a little bit of general information about you to help us find a position which matches your skills, interests, and availability.
* Must be at least 15 years of age or older
* Willing to make a 3 month commitment to a weekly shift, totaling a minimum of 8 hours of service per month.
* All applicants will interview with the volunteer coordinator (via phone or in person).
* All volunteers must go through an orientation and potential required trainings.
* Have regular access to an email account or internet for shelter communications.
* Complete the application and sign a liability waiver. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian attend orientation and sign appropriate waivers.
