Face coverings are required for Washingtonians in public spaces, as mandated by a Washington State public health order. City of Vancouver programs and services comply with this mandate and face coverings must be worn when participating in volunteer projects.

If you do not have a face covering, one will be provided on-site. If you cannot afford one, the Council for the Homeless and Share Vancouver are distributing free face coverings.

Please note, it is not recommended that individuals who are at higher risk of COVID-19 complications participate in volunteer events. If you are at higher risk or are unable to wear a face shield while volunteering please contact the Volunteer program in advance of the volunteer event and we will offer an alternative service option.
