Please complete this form if you are interested in becoming a Humane Society of Cambria County volunteer. Please know that all prospective volunteers must meet the approval of staff and board members. The Humane Society of Cambria County reserves the right to refuse volunteer work to any individual who does not qualify or meet the needs of our organization.

Due to Covid-19 ALL volunteers must be able to independently volunteer to limit the number of people within our building at any given time. We cannot accept volunteers under the age of 16 or volunteers assisted by Direct Support Professionals until further notice.

Your application will be reviewed by our Volunteer Coordinator who will then inform you, the applicant, of the approval or denial of your volunteer request.

If completing community service, you must provide paperwork detailing who requires the community service, the amount of hours to be completed, and for what reason the service is to be done to

If approved, you will meet with the Coordinator for Volunteer Orientation. They are scheduled every other week on Wednesdays from 5-5:30pm or Sundays from 12:30-1pm. You will also be required to complete further training for particular volunteer activities like our Dog Handling Class and Cat Care Class.
