Northbrook Public Library's Volunteer Program provides opportunities for individuals to make a positive impact in their community while gaining meaningful work and social experiences.

If you are a teenager in grades 7-12 looking for one time service opportunities or to reach a short-term volunteer goal, please fill out the Teen Service Hours application.

To become a volunteer, you will need to complete the following steps:

1. Complete and submit a volunteer application form

2. Participate in an interview

3. Be selected, then placed into a particular volunteer position

4. Receive a library tour and orientation, as well as additional training as needed
