Available Days and Times

We ask that you commit to one regularly scheduled hour per week, in the same classroom, for the full school year. Please let us know the days and times you are available to volunteer.


Morning sessions are scheduled between 9:00 am - Noon

Afternoon sessions are scheduled between Noon - 3:00 pm

Anytime assumes you are available anytime between 9am - 3pm



Tutoring Position Options

What type of volunteer position are you interested in?

1. Structured Literacy Tutor: This model involves 1:1 tutoring with assigned students. You typically support 2-3 students during a volunteer session using a structured curriculum called Literacy Footprints.

2. Unstructured Literacy Tutor: This model primarily involves small group work or roving support with TK/Kindergarten students (a more student-centered choice-based program).

3. Science Tutor: Support a classroom teacher and students with lab set-up, hands-on science lab support and clean-up. This model involves roving support for an entire classroom.
