Outpatient Surgery Waiting Room Duties: This volunteer will serve as a liaison between the Operating Room staff and the patient's family members, relaying information from holding, the operating room, and the recovery room. Qualifications: • Excellent communication skills – personal, verbal & written, and a caring and sensitive manner/personality. • Excellent guest relations skills • Excellent organizational skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information • Ability to work with other volunteers and employees as a team. • Basic computer skills • Ability to walk moderate distances.
