Youth Aide
Location: Family Connections / Get Real
Duties: Responsible for providing support and assistance that enhances Get Real Services to youth and their family.

Responsibilities include: Assist in facilitation of youth groups, accompany staff and youth on outings (gym, hiking, fishing etc.), help provide transportation to and from group activities and other designated tasks.
Qualifications: Dress code is casual appropriate for position responsibilities.
Completion of volunteer application and interview.
Successful completion of appropriate background screenings: criminal background check, child abuse registry, motor vehicle record check, driver's license and proof of car insurance.
Completes program orientation and position specific training.
Must have desire to work and relate with youth ages 10-18.
Able to discuss information openly with youth and answer difficult questions.
Ability to drive and transport youth.
Ability to read, interpret information and possess strong communication skills.
First Aid and CPR certified.
Complete Van Driver Training if transporting youth.
Maintain client and family confidentiality.
Be dependable and responsible.
Maintains open communication with team members, reporting all concerns to supervisor.
Completes and submits volunteer hours to position supervisor monthly.
Abide by all Hilltop policies and procedures and code of conduct.
Notifies supervisor if not able to make scheduled shift.
Time commitment varies according to duties assigned, a minimum of 2 hours per week.
