Activities Facilitation
Location: The Commons
Duties: Responsible for providing activity support that enhances life enrichment services to Commons Assisted Living senior residents.
Primarily assists with games, music, crafts and other engaging activities.
Qualifications: Successful completion of application and interview.
Successful completion of appropriate screenings including criminal background check, TB test and annual flu shot.
Completes program orientation and position specific training.
Dress code is business casual with comfortable shoes.
Must enjoy interacting with seniors and the elderly.
Have a happy and positive attitude.
The position is flexible but does require a minimum of two hours a week.
Maintains resident and family confidentiality.
Ability to be nonjudgmental and empathetic.
Good listening and communication skills.
Completes ans submits volunteer hours to position supervisor monthly.
Abides by all Hilltop policies/procedures and Code of Conduct.
Notifies supervisor if not able to make scheduled visits.
Maintains open communication with other team members-reporting all concerns to supervisor.
Participate in a quarterly check-in meeting with supervisor.
