Children Activities & Care Volunteer
Location: Domestic Violence Services-Grand Junction
Duties: Responsible for providing supervision and care for children while parents attend domestic violence support group.

Responsibilities include: providing care and supervision of children affected by trauma, creating and doing fun interactive activities that foster a positive environment for children to learn and grow.
Qualifications: Dress code is casual appropriate for position responsibilities.
Completion of volunteer application and interview.
Successful completion of appropriate background screenings.
Must complete program orientation and position specific training: 15 hours of domestic violence training.
Have previous experience working with children.
Must maintain client and family confidentiality.
Be depenable and responsible.
Be available and flexible
Good listening and communication skills.
Abide by all Hilltop policies/procedures and code of conduct.
Notify supervisor if not able to make scheduled shift.
Report all concerns to supervior.
Complete and submit volunteer hours to supervisor monthly.
