The Kansas City Center for Inclusion, Inc. (KCCI) is Kansas City’s only LGBTQIA+ community center. Carrying on the work of its predecessors, KCCI strives to live up to its mission of offering a safe and welcoming place for community members, their friends, family members, and allies, and to connect the various community organizations better together.|
Ambassadors are expected to be the face of KCCI. They are assist with the day-to-day operations of the Center, and to represent the ideals of the Center. Ambassadors share the responsibility of embodying KCCI’s mission. Other key duties include answering phones, responding to emails, cleaning and upkeep of KCCI space, welcoming guests, and helping visitors find appropriate resources.
Ambassadors are a non-paying position, and is wholly volunteer.
