Shopper
Duties: Overview
The Shopper is responsible for purchasing the items on the shopping list. The shopping list is finalized by the Chef and made available by Friday of each cook cycle.
Key Activities
Identify local stores that sell organic ingredients.
Using their own vehicle, travel to store locations, may need to shop at multiple locations.
Purchase and pay for ingredients.
Retain receipts for reimbursement.
Delivery purchased items to kitchen
Complete reimbursement form and leave in kitchen
Key Attributes and Skills
Safe driving skills.
Knowledge of local store locations.
Understands organic labeling.
Comfortable calling for help or clarification.
Expectation:
1 year term job commitment with option to renew.
Shopping is performed Saturday or Sunday prior to the cooking cycle.
Shopping and delivery may take 3-4 hours.
