Life Advocate
Duties: On the front lines of our mission, Life Advocates serve mothers, fathers, and families by offering care and support to all those faced with a pregnancy, whether planned or unplanned. Advocates help guide clients through pregnancy, parenting, and Bible study curriculum, offer counsel, help clients earn awards, and build relationships. Typically, advocates serve for 3-4 hours a week.
Qualifications: Advocate applicants will complete an additional application, answering questions regarding spirituality, personal experiences, and knowledge of abortion. Applicants will also submit SSN for a background check and sign Pathway to Hope's "Statement of Faith" and "Call to Volunteer" documents. Volunteers will complete LOVE approach training, and shadow current advocates prior to serving independently.
