Collections Assistant
Location: Foundation Headquarters
Duties: Setting up and organizing collections files.

Creating standardized naming system/arrangement.

Labeling folders.

Developing subject listings/finding aids.
Qualifications: Organization skills.


Ability to work independently.

Familiarity with the military or willingness to learn about women's military history.

Proficient in basic computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets and internet usage.
Time Commitment: Weekday: one 4-hour shift per week

All volunteers will be required to attend an orientation to the organization at the Memorial. This orientation will discuss the history of the Memorial and the volunteer program policies. In addition, each volunteer assignment will have additional training which will be arranged through the area supervisor.
