Education Intern (Winter 2021)
Location: Internships
Duties: Help tell her story.

The objective of this internship is to give students the opportunity to expand the reach of the Military Women's Memorial's exhibits by creating a specific curriculum for a set student audience. Interns will be expected to first identify a specific grade range and theme.

Using the Memorial's exhibits and collections, interns will create an interactive and dynamic class which relates/matches up to the appropriate Standards of Learning. By the end of the internship, you will be expected to teach your course and perform an evaluation.
Qualifications: While undergraduates will be considered, preference will be given to graduate students in Museum Studies, Public History, Cultural Heritage, Military History and American History areas of study.

For consideration, fill out the Internship Application. A member of our team will reach out and request a full resume and current list of course work. Along with your resume, you will need to include a short letter of interest which should explain why you would like to participate in this internship and your expectations from the experience.
Time Commitment: All internships require a minimum commitment of 10-12 weeks. Specific hour requirements are dependent on program requirements. All internships are unpaid.
