Collections Intern (Winter 2021)

Duties: Collections Interns will assist the Curator of Collections in processing, cataloguing and storage of donations of documents, photographs, textiles and objects of women in the military from the American Revolution to the present day.

Work to be performed may include:
-Data entry of names, addresses, item descriptions and other information into computer database
-Cataloguing historical documents, photographs, objects and textiles
-Searching for and retrieval of information from computer databases
-Filing
-Photocopying
-Printing, collating and mailing letters and forms to donors
-Labeling and storing archival and historical documents, photographs, objects and textiles
Qualifications: While undergraduates will be considered, preference will be given to graduate students in Museum Studies, Public History, Cultural Heritage, Military History and American History areas of study.

Time Commitment: All internships require a minimum commitment of 10-12 weeks. Specific hour requirements are dependent on program requirements. All internships are unpaid.
