Bagger

Help Thrift Store cashiers by bagging all those wonderful finds our shoppers are purchasing in our award-winning Thrift Store. Sand and wrap purchases in the register area of the Thrift Store.

Electronics Tester

Plug in electronics to see if they work, help with pricing, sort out broken items, and do minor repairs (if you know how, but not necessary)

Donations Assistant

Help our award-winning Thrift Store team unload the many wonderful treasures from our generous donors. The job is located outside. It is a fun job for those who like to say hi to folks and assist them by unloading their donations. Enjoy lots of social distancing, lots of fresh air, and lots of moving around. 

Processor

Put the price stickers on the merchandise and also help put out the carts of merchandise onto the sales floor 

* Hanging Clothes

Help members of the Thrift Store team hang clothes. Just a few hours of your help would be much appreciated! Teenagers and their parents are welcome.

Move Donations to the Sales Floor

The Thrift Store has lots of donations that need to get out onto the sales floor. We need your help to hang clothes and help where needed. 

* Sort Clothes

If opening bags of potential treasures sounds exciting to you, this is a fun volunteer assignment. Help the team in The Place’s award-winning thrift store sort clothes and recycle those with stains, rips, or tears. Flexible days and hours. If you can work a regular weekly shift, we would be soooooo grateful!!!

Teenager Opportunities

High schoolers and teenagers 14 and up are welcome to volunteer in our award-winning thrift store. Typical jobs include hanging clothes, taking clothes out to the sales floor, and helping where needed.
