Baylis Day Surgery Post Op
Location: Memorial Health (includes Springfield-area and hospice)
Baylis Building
Duties:

Tend to patients coming out of surgery.

Under staff direction, check on patients for basic comfort needs such as snacks, blankets, or other personal items.

Wipe down beds.

Deliver/transport personal belongings to designated areas, as needed.

Transport patients via wheelchair to outside entrance.


Shifts are:

Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm & 12pm-4pm


Qualifications:

Trained by Baylis Post Op staff.

Closed-toe shoes required.


Restrictions & Openings:

Volunteers in this area are not allowed to:

Give medical advice.

Tend to complex patient needs.

Make patient care decisions without staff direction/input.

Provide cleaning services such as vacuuming, scrubbing facilities, taking out trash, etc.


Opening:

Friday, 8am-12pm


Substitutes needed.
