Statistics Report - Volunteer Age Statistics (stock)¶
Use this stock report for statistical information about the age composition of your volunteer population. This report breaks down your volunteers according to how many are in pre-set age categories. By default, these categories are birth to 10, 11 to 15, 16 to 18, 19 to 20, 21 to 30, 31 to 50, 51 to 65, and 66 and older. If you want the report to use different age categories, you will need to clone the report and change the Fields tab settings. This report also provides information on the ages of the youngest and oldest volunteers, plus the average age of the volunteers in your account.
The report does not include age information for group records by default. However, you can change the settings on the Include tab when you run the report if you'd like group records to be included. If you do choose to include Group records, it is important to note that these records will affect your age statistics a little differently since they represent multiple volunteers. Volgistics will still use the age field on the Profile tab of these records to determine which age range the record contributes to, but Volgistics will use the Members field on the Core tab of the Group record to determine how many volunteers this group will count toward the corresponding age range. For example, if the Age field in a Group record is 25 and the Members field is 10, this Group record will count as 10 volunteers toward the 21 to 30 age range shown above.
Customizing and Running Stock Reports
You can generate this report using the Run It button, and change its appearance using the Modify It button. You can also Clone It to create your own custom versions.
